iOS 18 Compatibility: Which iPhone and iPad Models Are Eligible for the Update?

iPhone Compatibility

According to a recent preview, iOS 18 will be compatible with the same iPhone models as iOS 17. This means that even older devices such as the iPhone XR, XS, and XS Max will be eligible for the update.

iPad Compatibility

iPadOS 18 will also be compatible with all the iPad models supported by the existing iPadOS 17. This includes the 10th, 9th, and 8th-generation models, as well as the iPad Air 5 and iPad Air 4. However, the 6th-generation iPad (2018) will not be supported by iPadOS 18 or iOS 18.
